Open with morning breakfast in the kitchen
HUSBAND: (lazily reading the paper)
Morning, Hon. Busy day?
WIFE: (preparing breakfast) Uhmm-hmmm.
Medical appointments. Dermatologist for me (dropping toast
in the toaster), taking Mom to her cardiologist, and after
school, Timmy has his ears checked again (she stirs a
pitcher of juice).
HUSBAND: (raising head from paper)
Running all over town, hmmm?
WIFE: (pouring juice in glass) No.
My doctor is just three blocks from Mom's house (catches
popping toast in mid-air) And her doctor's even closer
(pours coffee for husband). And Timmy's doctor is just
five minutes from school (places an apple in lunch box
as a wide-eyed Timmy looks on).
HUSBAND: (looking around his paper)
I'm over-due for my check-up, too!
WIFE: (smiling) It's Friday, right
across the street from your office.
HUSBAND: (in wonder) Amazing. How
do you do it? The right doctor, at the right place at
the right time!
WIFE: (off screen during a close-up
of Husband's paper, which features a JUST DIAL DOCTORS
logo and phone #) Oh, I have my contacts.
